PRESIDENT
I am a 25-year HUSD educator dedicated to advocating for educators through transparent leadership, strong representation, and open communication. As HTA President, I am committed to empowering members and building a stronger union.
Terri Eddy
VICE PRESIDENT
Dedicated to supporting every educator, I bring 24 years of teaching experience within the district and active involvement in the union since 2010. As your Vice President I strive to bring transparency to the union and advocate to protect and defend the rights and wellbeing of teachers.
Mrs. Honey Obeng
SECRETARY
I have been a proud HTA member for 10 years and as Secretary, I look forward to providing our membership with accurate, timely, and transparent information while continuing to advocate for the rights, dignity, and well-being of all HTA members.
Dr. Pia Givens
TREASURER
I have proudly served HUSD as a teacher for 22 years and have been actively involved with the HTA for the past 10 years. As Treasurer, I am committed to advocating for educators, strengthening member engagement, and supporting a strong, united voice for our profession.
Shannon Ward
ELEMENTARY DIRECTOR
I am proud to serve you as your HTA Elementary Director and I have been a teacher in Hesperia since 2006. I currently teach at Cypress School of the Arts and was the site rep for several years prior to this position.
Martin Gonzalez
SECONDARY DIRECTOR
I've been an active member of HTA on the insurance committee and as a site rep for Hesperia High School.
Oren Zebooloon
DIRECTOR AT LARGE
Throughout my 12.5 years in HUSD, I've been an active advocate for educators, while serving in various leadership roles within the HTA. I'm committed to strengthening educator representation and supporting the members of HTA in my role as Director at Large.
